Project Manager (IT / Digital Transformation)

Location: London (Remote with likely 1 day in the London office)

Hiring for a reputed client, this is a hands-on Project Manager role focused on delivering digital transformation in Financial Services. You'll join on an initial 6-month contract (with a view to extend), working inside IR35 via Umbrella only.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive delivery across a digital transformation programme within Financial Services
  • Lead in a sprint-based, Agile way of working, supporting effective delivery cycles
  • Translate requirements into clear delivery plans and practical next steps
  • Manage stakeholders through complex change, ensuring alignment and momentum
  • Coordinate delivery in a multi-supplier environment, keeping outcomes front and centre
  • Operate with a pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset—mobilising quickly and delivering value early

What You'll Bring

  • Proven delivery experience within Financial Services, with an emphasis on banking
  • Banking experience ideally within business / business banking (but not critical)
  • Experience operating within large, complex transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills—able to be clear, articulate, and influential
  • Ability to work independently and rapidly establish credibility
  • Confidence working across multi-supplier delivery environments
  • A practical delivery mindset with strong communication and "hit the ground running" energy
