Project Manager - Fleming Centre Project
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering the Fleming Centre project, alongside other redevelopment projects across the Trust. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile projects that will have a real impact on how we deliver healthcare, research and innovation, and on the people who use and work in our buildings.
You’ll take responsibility for defined project workstreams and elements of delivery, working closely with the Redevelopment team and supporting the wider project programme. You'll bring together clinical, operational, estates and technical teams alongside designers, consultants and contractors, helping to manage challenges and keep delivery on track.
With experience of complex healthcare or life sciences projects, you’ll bring strong knowledge of construction, NEC4 contract administration and project management. You’ll be confident working within NHS governance, public sector procurement and complex, operational environments.
The portfolio is varied, so you’ll need to adapt to different project contexts, stakeholders and delivery challenges, while maintaining momentum and keeping sight of the bigger picture.
You’ll be a confident and collaborative Project Manager who can build strong relationships, navigate complexity and make sound decisions. You’ll bring a practical, solutions-focused approach, with the judgement and resilience to keep projects moving in a demanding environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
