Overview
Wates Property Services are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major social housing planned maintenance programme in Canvey Island, Essex.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a £20m contract within a 10-year framework, delivering essential improvements to residents' homes across a variety of workstreams including windows and doors, roofing, kitchens, bathrooms and internal refurbishment works.
We're looking for a Project Manager who can hit the ground running. Someone highly organised, commercially aware and experienced in planned maintenance who understands how to successfully deliver projects within occupied social housing environments.

Key Duties
As Project Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the contract from mobilisation through to completion.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing the delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes.
- Overseeing works including windows, doors, roofing, kitchens and bathrooms.
- Leading site management teams and subcontractors across multiple workstreams.
- Managing programme performance, budgets and resource allocation.
- Monitoring health & safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Producing and presenting progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Driving operational performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring excellent communication between all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within social housing planned maintenance.
- Strong track record delivering refurbishment and property improvement programmes.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams within occupied residential environments.
- Exceptional organisation, planning and programme management skills.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
- SMSTS qualification (essential).
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
