Sparta Global are hiring 5 Project Managers to lead technology and business transformation projects from mobilisation through to successful delivery.
This will be a 12 Month FTC, before a potential conversion to a permanent role, and will require 2 days per week on-site in Birmingham.
The role will take ownership of project planning, governance, financial management, risks, issues and dependencies, while ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from mobilisation and planning through to implementation and delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones and delivery schedules.
- Manage project scope, priorities, dependencies and changes throughout the lifecycle.
- Own RAID management, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, tracked and appropriately escalated.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Establish and maintain effective project governance, including regular status reporting and governance forums.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and third-party suppliers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure activities remain aligned with agreed objectives and timelines.
- Identify delivery challenges early and drive actions through to resolution.
- Support delivery using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies depending on project requirements.
