Project Manager - Major Transformation Programme

Location: Perth (2 days on-site, 3 days from home)
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
Reporting to: Programme Director

About the Opportunity

Our client is undertaking a significant business and technology transformation programme, investing in large-scale change initiatives designed to improve customer experience, enhance operational performance, and modernise core business capabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering strategic change across a complex and evolving organisation.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of major technology and transformation initiatives within a wider programme environment. Reporting directly to the Programme Director, you will be responsible for leading complex projects and multiple workstreams simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

This role requires a strong delivery professional who is comfortable operating within complex organisational structures, engaging senior stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and driving projects through to successful completion.

You will play a key role in programme governance, executive reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, while ensuring projects remain aligned to strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of large-scale technology, business change, and transformation projects.
  • Manage multiple project workstreams concurrently, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance, controls, and reporting frameworks.
  • Prepare and facilitate Steering Committee meetings, governance forums, and executive reviews.
  • Produce high-quality status reports, project updates, and management information for senior leadership.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions, ensuring appropriate mitigation and escalation.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with senior business stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and delivery teams.
  • Challenge stakeholders constructively where required to drive decisions and maintain programme momentum.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed scope, budget, and timescales.
  • Support business readiness, change management, and adoption activities.
  • Work across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments, selecting the most appropriate approach based on project requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery standards, governance processes, and ways of working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
