Job Description

As a Service Transformation Project Manager, you will be responsible for directing projects that deliver transformation and modernisation for the organisation. You will be part of a small team including a programme manager, business analysts, and support staff, and you may have line management responsibilities. You will enable the team to deliver successful implementation of the projects critical to helping the organisation modernise and transform into one that is more efficient and effective.

You will be responsible for ensuring objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost, and quality constraints. You’ll have a key role in project governance and will collaborate with high-level internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outputs are delivered to enable benefits realisation. You will provide trusted evidence to inform leadership decisions on prioritisation and risk, ensuring optimal delivery and embedding of both the technical and cultural change into the organisation.

You will develop business cases, organise, and engage on project assurance to assure the overall direction and integrity of projects and track project spend within budget. As Project Manager, you will take the lead in building plans, applying appropriate delivery methodology, integrating change management processes, setting project controls, tracking and reporting against milestones, and supporting effective governance and decision-making.

You will drive progress, consistency, and quality across your projects, ensuring that they adhere to best practice for project and programme delivery.

The Team

You will:

  • Be experienced in a Project Manager role and have successfully led projects and project teams, including business transformation type projects.
  • Be able to motivate, inspire, and empower project teams, champion development, and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Be a well-organised self-starter, able to balance multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be flexible and willing to meet the challenges of complex changes.
  • Be confident with navigating and leading project teams through uncertainty and ambiguity and be resilient yourself in complex and demanding situations.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be a problem solver, innovative in your approach, and have a can-do attitude.
  • Be able to collaborate with high-level stakeholders to deliver effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
