Overview

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for all future and current projects. The Technical Project Manager will have a proven track record of managing multiple engineering projects of varying value and complexity within the aerospace defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project team coordination (direct and indirect).
  • Commercial performance overview, monitoring project budget status against percentage. Completion and reporting potential issues through the Operations reporting process.
  • Risk, dependency and change management for customer workstream.
  • Project planning and status reporting, including resource allocation.
  • Working with the Operations Manager / Director to ensure projects are completed within budget, in line with the allocated timeframe and expected quality standards.
  • Review and maintain project documentation including Bid Reviews, Proposals, Contract Reviews, Meeting Minutes and Delivery Acceptance Notes.
  • Provision of Weekly Reporting metrics.
  • Conducting project close out reviews, ensuring lessons learned are captured and fed back into the team for future learning.
  • Providing PM guidance to Project Administrators as necessary.
  • Prepare information for and subsequently attend Client meetings as necessary (CRM/PRM/QBR).
  • Support in managing/driving the continual improvement of Projects processes and procedures.
  • Attending client meetings as necessary.
  • Providing advice on the management of projects, as well as executing PM activities.
  • Budget management and PO processing.
  • Providing operational support to the Operations Manager as necessary.
