AV Project Manager
We're looking for an experienced AV Project Manager to join our London team. This role is ideal for someone who has built their career within the AV industry and understands what it takes to successfully deliver complex integration projects from concept through to handover.
You may currently be a Senior AV Project Manager, Lead Programmer or AV Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career. What matters most is your technical understanding of commercial AV systems and your ability to manage projects, people, and client expectations.
You'll be highly organised, commercially aware, and comfortable leading multiple stakeholders through the project lifecycle. Above all, you'll share our commitment to delivering a fantastic customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of commercial AV integration projects from contract award through to final handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource requirements, and delivery strategies.
- Coordinate internal departments including design, programming, procurement, installation, commissioning, and service teams.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, variations, and commercial performance.
- Review technical drawings, schematics, equipment specifications, and project documentation to ensure successful delivery.
- Communicate project requirements, timelines, and expectations to internal teams and subcontractors.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and end users throughout project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring issues are proactively managed and resolved.
- Support installation and commissioning teams with technical guidance where required.
- Monitor project progress against programme milestones and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage project documentation including scope changes, RFIs, submittals, commissioning records, and handover documentation.
- Conduct project review meetings and ensure lessons learned are captured and shared across the business.

Experience
Absolutely. We're specifically looking for candidates who have come from a technical AV background and understand the realities of delivering projects in the field.
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing commercial AV integration projects.
- Proven industry background as an AV Design Engineer, Programmer, Commissioning Engineer, Installation Engineer, or similar technical AV role.
- Strong understanding of AV systems including video conferencing, collaboration technologies, control systems, DSP, audio, video distribution, and networking.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams and managing subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system designs.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, variations, and profitability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across London and the UK when required.

Desirable
- CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, Prince2, PMP, or similar industry qualifications.
- Experience delivering projects within corporate, financial, legal, government, or higher education environments.
- Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Zoom Rooms solutions.
- Experience working within a fast-paced AV integrator environment.
