About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of [Job Title]. Qualifications
- Relevant educational qualifications, such as a degree or diploma in theology, community development, social work, or a related field.
- Prior experience working within a church, community organization, or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures is highly desirable.
- A proactive approach, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine passion for community service and spiritual development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community outreach programs that align with the Diocese’s mission and objectives.
- Support and facilitate church services, events, and educational programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to parishioners and community members.
- Coordinate volunteer activities and ensure proper training and supervision.
- Assist in fundraising activities and resource mobilization to support various initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of programs, participants, and outcomes for reporting and evaluation purposes.
- Promote inclusivity and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Participate in diocesan meetings, training sessions, and strategic planning activities.
