Project Manager – Payments Transformation & Platform Migration
Basildon, UK (5 Days Onsite)
Long-Term Contract (Initial 6 Months)
Competitive Daily Rate up to £550 per day
We are partnering with a leading global fintech organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale business transformation and platform migration programs within a payments environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a business and client-focused Project Manager who has successfully delivered complex transformation projects, working closely with clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. We are not looking for an infrastructure-focused or internally focused technical Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of business-critical platform migration and transformation programs.
- Manage Platform A to Platform B migration projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery.
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, clients, and delivery teams.
- Drive payments transformation initiatives, ensuring business objectives are achieved.
- Define project scope, governance, timelines, resource plans, and delivery milestones.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate business and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering business-led platform migration projects (Platform A to Platform B).
- Strong background managing payments transformation programs.
- Experience working within banking, financial services, or fintech environments.
- Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, communication, and project governance skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects that balance business priorities with successful technology implementation.
