Project Manager – Power Transmission & Distribution

Location: Gloucester – Hybrid working (3 days office, on site)

ARCA Resourcing is supporting a growing engineering business operating across the UK power transmission and distribution sector in the search for a Project Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business delivering next generation energy infrastructure projects across the UK. You'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of transmission and distribution projects while working alongside experienced engineering and operational teams in a fast-growing organisation.

The Role

Working closely with clients, operational teams and subcontractors, you will support the safe and successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of transmission and distribution projects from start to completion.
  • Managing project programmes, budgets, resources and project risks.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
  • Monitoring project progress, commercial performance and project reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, contractual requirements and company procedures.

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have project delivery experience within engineering, utilities or infrastructure environments.

Ideal backgrounds include:

  • Power Transmission & Distribution
  • Utilities and Energy Infrastructure
  • Renewables
  • Electrical Infrastructure

We would also welcome applications from candidates with experience in:

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Project Manager or Project Coordinator role.
  • Experience delivering engineering, utilities or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong organisational, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts is advantageous.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
