Junior Project Manager – Microsoft Partner

Location: Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey – Hybrid (1–2 days onsite)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Recruitment Partner: Nigel Frank International

The Opportunity

Nigel Frank International is working with an established Microsoft Partner specialising in Microsoft Cloud and digital transformation to recruit a Junior Project Manager into their growing delivery team.

The business works with organisations across a range of sectors to deliver technology-led transformation projects across Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Copilot and the wider Microsoft ecosystem. They have a strong reputation for delivering complex Microsoft projects while building long-term relationships with their clients.

This is a great opportunity for a Junior Project Manager with around 2 years of IT project management experience who wants to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to a wide variety of Microsoft technology projects and clients. You'll work closely with experienced project managers, consultants and technical teams, giving you the opportunity to develop your project management skills while also building your understanding of modern Microsoft technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of multiple concurrent technology projects, working across both internal teams and external clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project planning: Supporting the scoping, planning and delivery of projects and workstreams.
  • Client & stakeholder management: Working closely with clients, technical teams and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Project coordination: Managing actions, milestones, dependencies and deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Scope & constraint management: Helping maintain clear project scope and tracking progress against agreed milestones.
  • Risk, issue & change management: Identifying risks and issues, assessing their impact and ensuring they are communicated and managed effectively.
  • Budget management: Supporting the monitoring of project budgets and highlighting potential risks or variances.
  • Delivery support: Working alongside technical consultants and engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Client relationships: Building strong relationships with customers and representing the business professionally throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Business development: Getting involved in client conversations and helping to identify opportunities to develop long-term customer relationships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and keep projects on track.

  • Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Technical project experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM or PMP are desirable but not essential.
