As Project Manager in our Repairs and Maintenance team, you'll use your expertise to deliver transformational system change and integration along with operational readiness that will modernise and digitise the Maintenance service. It's all about building strong relationships, managing expectations, full stakeholder engagement and playing a key role in supporting change that benefits our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Leading business change across multiple departments using our Project@Home framework, where you’ll enhance the future of our Repairs and Maintenance services.
- Manage projects using both waterfall and agile SCRUM methods, ensuring timely and successful delivery, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand project scope and key deliverables, maintaining these important relationships whilst ensuring expectations are met.
- Utilise Smartsheet for planning, tracking, automating, and real-time reporting on project progress.
- Ensuring agile delivery in our Repairs and Maintenance team, defining processes and managing products effectively.

You have
- A PRINCE 2 or APM PMQ qualification with strong experience in applying agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in project planning and resource management, using project controls and risk management. You’ll be an expert in change management that is focused on delivering customer benefits.
- Experience in delivering system implementation projects and managing technical resource to achieve projects to deadline.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills to achieve win-win outcomes. You’ll be a great influencer and able to think outside of the box on how things can be done more efficiently.
- Able to build and maintain important stakeholder relationships, quickly gaining the confidence of colleagues and senior leaders.

The practical bits
- Flexible working hours, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- This is a hybrid role, and you’ll spend a couple of days a week at our office at Newcastle and the rest working at home.
- There will be some occasional travel
