This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong civil engineering and construction background to take ownership of high-profile infrastructure schemes, working alongside industry-leading specialists and key stakeholders.

Purpose & Scope of the Role

As a Project Manager within our Residential Development team, you will play a key role in delivering major strategic land and residential development projects from inception through to completion. You will act as the primary client contact on site, driving the successful delivery of a long-term residential development portfolio. Your expertise will help coordinate complex infrastructure works, manage stakeholder relationships, control risk and change, and ensure projects progress efficiently from design through construction. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong relationships across all project partners.

  • Contract & Commercial Management: Administer NEC4 and industry-standard construction contracts. Support procurement activities and contract negotiations. Manage project costs, budgets, forecasting and billing.
  • Infrastructure Delivery: Oversee civil infrastructure works, including highways, drainage and utilities. Manage remediation investigations and construction supervision activities. Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
  • Quality, Information & Governance: Implement quality management processes and project controls. Manage project information within a Common Data Environment (CDE). Ensure compliance with project governance, contractual and client requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
