We are seeking an experienced Project Manager in Boston, MA to lead heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily project operations and oversee project performance, schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including CPM, look-ahead, and recovery schedules.
- Coordinate field activities, sequencing, resources, and project milestones.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, procurement, buy-outs, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost-to-complete, WIP, billing, change orders, and profitability.
- Review and administer contracts, drawings, specifications, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Maintain strong relationships with Owners, clients, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead project coordination meetings and resolve field, scheduling, and constructability issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, QA/QC, contractual, and company requirements.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, project documentation, correspondence, and project controls.
- Coordinate punch lists, inspections, testing, close-out documentation, and final turnover.
- Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Field Engineers, and other project staff.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Heavy Civil Construction background with 7+ years’ field experience
- Highly proficient in standard business software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe)
- Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications for all disciplines of work
- Knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling program is a plus
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation programs is a plus
- OSHA 62-hour certification, or OSHA 30-hour certification with the ability to complete the additional 32 hours
- PE license and/or CCM certification preferred

- Ability to make decisions and work independently
- Ability to meet critical project deadlines
- Willingness to coordinate and work in a team environment

Salary
- Minimum Salary: USD $155,000.00/Yr.
- Maximum Salary: USD $205,000.00/Yr.
