Project Manager
A Project Manager is sought to join an innovative engineering team in Bedford, Bedfordshire, taking ownership of the successful delivery of business-critical projects from inception through to customer acceptance.
Role Overview
The Project Manager, Bedford, Bedfordshire, will manage projects across engineering, procurement, production, and delivery, ensuring milestones, customer requirements, and commercial objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from order placement through to delivery and customer acceptance
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and risk registers
- Coordinate internal teams across Engineering, Procurement, and Production
- Manage customer communications, project reviews, meetings, and actions
- Ensure project documentation and customer requirements are delivered
- Monitor project milestones, payments, invoicing, and export compliance
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide regular project updates
- Manage customer returns, upgrades, rework, and warranty requirements where applicable

Key Skills
- Previous Project Management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
- PRINCE2, APM, or Scrum Master qualifications would be advantageous
