Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing the successful delivery and implementation of complex MHE and automation projects, working with engineering, operational, technical, and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities are expected to include:
- Managing large-scale, complex technology and engineering projects from planning through implementation.
- Supporting the deployment and implementation of Material Handling Equipment and automation solutions.
- Managing projects involving technologies such as conveyor systems, sortation systems, high-speed packaging lines, and/or manufacturing lines.
- Coordinating project activities across warehouse and logistics environments.
- Managing schedules, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Working effectively within fast-paced, technology-driven operational environments.
- Applying Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies to project delivery and continuous improvement.
- Using data and analysis to support project decisions and performance management.
- Working across multiple European locations and travelling to operational sites as required.

The core technical requirements in the RFQ specifically emphasise MHE experience, large-scale technology project management, and Lean/Six Sigma capability.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- Proven hands-on project experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Experience with one or more of:
- Conveyor systems
- Sortation systems
- High-speed packaging lines
- Manufacturing/production lines
- Demonstrable project management experience delivering large-scale, complex technology projects.
- Six Sigma / Lean certification or demonstrable practical experience.
- Fluent professional English.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
Highly Desirable
Additional experience that would be particularly valuable includes:

- End-to-end project management within warehouse, logistics, or fulfilment environments.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience working in high-velocity, technology-led environments.
- Previous experience delivering projects for large-scale e-commerce, logistics, or similarly complex organisations.
- Strong data-driven analysis capabilities.
- Financial modelling or commercial analysis experience.
- German language skills
