Role: Project Manager
Contract Length: Until end of Jan 2027
Location: Scotland / Hybrid
The candidate will be required to travel around Scottish sites. This could be 2/3 days per week, so the candidate needs to be based locally.
Description:
This is a hands-on, mobile Project Manager position supporting a major coal mining/geotechnical project in Scotland. The team is operating BAU while delivering multiple ongoing projects and responding to incidents across the region.

The client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and confidently manage both planned project activity and reactive site-based incidents.
Essential:
- Project Management experience within:
- Construction
- Civil Engineering
- Ground Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Incident management and reactive works experience.
- Strong understanding of site-based risk assessment.
- Health & Safety awareness in construction or engineering environments.
- Experience visiting sites and making practical operational decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Desirable:
- Exposure to NEC4 contracts (basic understanding is sufficient).
