About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing technology function within an established and fast-moving consumer business.
This is a highly stakeholder-focused role, sitting between the commercial/business teams and the technology function. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into clear and actionable technology priorities, and ensuring delivery teams remain focused on the highest-value work.
The successful candidate will be confident working with demanding senior stakeholders, challenging requirements where necessary, managing expectations and keeping projects and technology initiatives moving forward.
This is not a heavily technical or architecture-led Project Manager position. The key focus is on stakeholder management, prioritisation, organisation and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key link between commercial stakeholders and Technology/IT teams.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, understanding their requirements, challenges and priorities.
- Gather, challenge and translate business requirements into clear technology initiatives and actionable tickets.
- Prioritise competing requests based on business impact, urgency and available resources.
- Manage expectations and confidently push back on requirements where appropriate.
- Coordinate with Technology, Data and Systems teams to ensure priorities are understood and delivered effectively.
- Maintain clear project plans, priorities, timelines and delivery updates.
- Hold delivery teams accountable for progress against agreed priorities and deadlines.
- Provide regular communication to stakeholders on progress, risks, blockers and changes to priorities.
- Identify delivery risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects and initiatives remain on track.
- Support planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and other delivery ceremonies where required.
- Monitor project progress, budgets and resources where applicable.
- Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and aligned with wider business and technology objectives.
- Lead project closure and capture lessons learned to improve future delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Managing competing priorities and making sensible decisions around what should be delivered first.
- Communicating complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Holding teams and stakeholders accountable for agreed actions and deadlines.
- Managing multiple projects, initiatives or workstreams simultaneously.
