We are seeking an experienced, delivery-focused Project Manager with a strong construction background to join our expanding team. If you have three to five years’ experience managing construction projects across all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of construction projects across the full delivery lifecycle and all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work. You will coordinate design, procurement and site activities; manage programme, cost, quality and risk; and act as the key link between clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams. This role requires practical construction knowledge, strong commercial awareness and the ability to deliver projects safely in accordance with scope, budget and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage construction projects through all stages of the RIBA plan of works, including mobilisation and pre-construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Develop and maintain project programmes, milestones, resource plans and delivery strategies.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
  • Manage procurement activities, tender packages, contractor appointments and material lead times.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, variations and project costs, working closely with commercial colleagues.
  • Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
  • Promote and monitor compliance with health and safety requirements, site procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Oversee quality assurance, inspections, defects management and completion documentation.
  • Chair progress meetings and provide clear reports on programme, cost, risk, quality and safety.
  • Build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders, resolving issues and managing expectations.
  • Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, building regulations, contracts and project requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
