PROJECT MANAGER – SPECIALIST PUBLISHING
Porter Press International is seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to oversee the development and delivery of exceptional automotive books and publishing projects. This is an opportunity to join an internationally respected, award-winning publisher and manage complex projects from initial concept through to publication.

Our portfolio includes the acclaimed Great Cars and Ultimate series, alongside COLLECTOR by Porter Press – a prestigious collection of handcrafted, Special Edition books.
THE ROLE
As Project Manager, you will coordinate multiple publishing projects, ensuring that each title is delivered to the highest standard, on time and within budget. Working closely with clients, authors, editors, designers, photographers, researchers, printers and suppliers, you will manage schedules, communication and production workflows throughout every stage of a project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage publishing projects from initial planning through to printing and publication.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones and delivery plans.
- Coordinate authors, editors, designers, photographers, researchers and suppliers.
- Ensure all editorial, design and production work meets Porter Press’s quality standards.
- Support publication launches by coordinating with sales and marketing colleagues.
- Help improve internal publishing processes and workflows.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in project management, publishing, editorial production or a related creative industry.
- Excellent organisational, planning and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage several detailed projects and competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Confidence working with authors, clients, creative professionals and senior stakeholders.

Of great value is previous experience in book publishing, print production, illustrated publications, luxury products, international markets and the automotive sector.
