Summary

This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a Global Consumer Electronics Company.

This opportunity is customer centric prioritising service and support, the improvement of processes and maximising operational efficiency. Working with global retail support partners, you will address complex, often technical challenges related to product ownership in retail stores, balancing the needs of teams, customers and the business.

The project needs a consultant who has:

  • at least five years of project management experience, with a strong understanding of project tools and lifecycles
  • previous retail store operations, regional or national retail management, or field leadership experience
  • strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • a focus on customer experience and the ability to work independently and within a global cross-functional team

Key Services

The key services that you will be asked to provide are:

  • identify, create, lead and implement programmes that address complex product ownership challenges within retail stores
  • design and launch initiatives with global retail support partners that align with retail priorities and improve customer and employee engagement
  • deliver strategies that drive product ownership, improve the in-store shopping experience and increase operational efficiency
  • initiate, manage and deliver projects across global cross-functional teams
  • identify roadblocks and potential impacts early, escalating issues through the appropriate channels to secure timely resolution
  • build and maintain partnerships with senior field leadership, sharing initiatives through market visits, forums and calls, and establishing feedback and communication channels

Mandatory Requirements

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

  • a minimum of five years of project management experience and excellent project management and organisational skills
  • previous experience in retail store operations, regional or national retail management, or field leadership
  • a commitment to delivering a consistently high standard of customer experience for internal and external customers
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including identifying trends, developing strategies and implementing solutions
  • an understanding of change and stakeholder management, with the ability to balance strategic and tactical stakeholder needs and influence at all levels
  • the ability to manage ambiguity and multiple concurrent projects, with strong time management, initiative and attention to detail
  • the ability to develop innovative solutions, communicate them clearly, gain consensus and build trusted partnerships quickly
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective teamwork and the ability to work independently
  • flexibility to work across multiple time zones
