Job Title: Project Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Bristol with hybrid working

Salary and benefits: £60,000 - £70,000 plus an indicative bonus range of 16-32% private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

The role
As a member of our Change team, you will manage the delivery of business essential projects. Working across internal teams and external suppliers, you will ensure changes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while partnering with project sponsors to realise expected business benefits and keeping stakeholders fully informed throughout the project lifecycle.
You will be responsible for producing robust project plans and documentation, building and motivating effective project teams, managing risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with SunLife's change framework and quality standards.
The role requires excellent stakeholder management, clear communication, and strong commercial awareness, ensuring projects deliver measurable business outcomes while maintaining strong relationships across the business and supplier network.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects involving both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You'll be organised, commercially aware, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You'll thrive in a collaborative environment and be comfortable influencing and presenting to senior stakeholders. Most importantly, you'll be pragmatic, delivery-focused, and passionate about driving successful business change.

- Previous Project Manager experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
- Experience presenting information and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capability.
- Project management qualification desirable.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Adobe, or Salesforce would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong planning, analytical, and organisational abilities.
- Pragmatic approach with the ability to lead project teams with a strong delivery focus.
- Strong commercial awareness.
