Construction Project Manager

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team in Newport, Isle of Wight, supporting the delivery of a major long-term construction programme.

Due to a significant increase in workload and an expanding pipeline of works, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help drive the successful delivery of multiple phases of this high-profile project. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team and play a key role in a scheme that will have a lasting impact on the local community.

Working closely with operational, commercial and design teams, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the delivery of construction projects from planning through to completion
  • Managing programme, cost, quality, safety and risk across allocated works
  • Coordinating project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with project objectives, contractual requirements and client expectations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
  • Monitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions where required
  • Driving a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across the project
  • Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities throughout the delivery lifecycle

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
  • Experience delivering medium to large construction projects from inception through to completion
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of programme management, commercial principles and risk management
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
