I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a hands-on delivery role: you'll manage two to four client implementations at a time, working closely with Solutions Consultants as well as internal and external delivery teams to keep each project running smoothly through each phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery & Lifecycle: Guide client implementations through the full lifecycle: kickoff, discovery, configuration, data load, dashboards, training, go-live readiness, and hypercare transition.
- Planning & Governance: Translate the signed-off scope into a baselined plan with clear milestones, owners, and dates; track delivery against the project RACI.
- Risk & Change: Maintain the RAID log, action log, and change log; hold the team and client accountable to dates; manage scope through proper change governance.
- Configuration & Dashboards: Coordinate closely with the design lead to ensure scope, timelines, and signoff are well managed, follow the technical details closely enough to catch gaps or risks before they reach the client.
- Client Communication: Attend client meetings and deliver regular status updates, tailoring the message to the audience and flagging issues before they escalate.
- Documentation & Improvement: Maintain standard PM templates and documentation, and feed lessons learned back into Amplify's implementation methodology.
