Position Available: Project Manager

Location: Hertfordshire (hybrid)

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Experience needed:

  • Project or programme management experience, ideally gained within a complex matrix organisation.
  • Strong experience in risk management, schedule management, Earned Value Management, and leading multidisciplinary project teams is particularly important.
  • Candidates should also possess excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a delivery-focused Project Manager to join a complex, fast-moving, and highly collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Managing project performance
  • Working closely with stakeholders at all levels

  • Navigating changing priorities
  • Managing risks and schedules
  • Ensuring projects remain focused on their key delivery objectives

What we need from you:

  • Project or programme management experience, ideally within a complex matrix organisation
  • Strong risk management skills and experience conducting schedule risk assessments
  • Experience leading projects from a business and delivery perspective
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management, schedule adherence, and project performance controls
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound commercial judgement and the ability to solve complex problems
  • Strong communication and motivational skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams
  • Confidence working within a changing environment and dealing with ambiguity
  • Bidding and estimating experience would be advantageous
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to share best practice and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
