The Role
The LTPA/CMP project manager role is focused on delivery of a project(s) within the CMP programme of work, the first of which is going to be Blue/Green implementation at BUTEC to improve throughput and efficiency of the Test and reference capabilities while also significantly increasing BUTEC range availability.
This project manager role is to manage their projects right through to acceptance and closure within the CMP portfolio and thereby modernise the IT offering for the Range and the MoD. The project manager will have the opportunity to be supported and mentored by experienced senior project & programme managers, meaning this role is suitable for someone wishing to develop, progress and grow through the P3M discipline within QQ.

Your Responsibilities
- Delivery of a business-critical modernisation project(s)
- Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers
- Operating in a Safe & Secure manner
- Embedding a culture in line with the QinetiQ values
- Delivery of the project outputs, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales)
- Ensuring delivery members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements; and where appropriate have personal objectives recorded in the QinetiQ performance management system
Essential Experience of the Project Manager
- 5-10 years project management experience from a highly regulated industry
- Proven track record of delivering against complex projects
- Experience in delivering defence, engineering and/or IT Projects
Desirable Qualifications for the Project Manager
- Hold a recognised PM qualification (APM Project Professional Qualification (PPQ) or Prince2)

This role is 37 hours per week and is based out of our Farnborough facility on a hybrid working pattern of 3 days per week on average, onsite.
