Project Manager
Amalga Limited is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our expanding Maintenance & Projects team and lead the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, commercially minded professional who can bring together people, processes, and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Based from either our Heathrow or Gatwick office and reporting directly to the Head of Projects & Technical Compliance, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of a varied portfolio of projects across our airport and Travel Retail operations.
You will work closely with the Head of Projects, taking ownership of allocated projects from handover and planning through to delivery, completion and close-out.
We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience working within the airport environment. However, candidates with strong experience in retail fit-out, Shell & Core, commercial refurbishment or construction within similarly fast-paced and operational environments will also be considered.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the delivery, managing teams and subcontractors on site, solving problems and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
