Digital Project Manager
Salary: £52,468 per year pro rata
Location: London, UK
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – a minimum of 40% of working time face-to-face, including the London office, external meetings or travel
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Hours: 21 hours per week, 3 days per week

Overview
WaterAid is looking for a Digital Project Manager to lead major web development projects supporting digital engagement and fundraising.
You will manage projects from planning and scoping through delivery, working with internal stakeholders, third-party suppliers and development partners. This is a part-time opportunity offering responsibility for enterprise-level digital projects alongside flexible and hybrid working.
Responsibilities
- Manage major web development projects, ensuring accurate delivery to agreed deadlines.
- Gather and define detailed stakeholder requirements, building on initial feasibility work.
- Create and maintain project plans and secure commitment to delivery plans from stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Manage project scope and challenge scope creep or unrealistic budgets.
- Coordinate internal teams and third parties throughout project delivery.
- Support digital projects that contribute to online revenue and supporter engagement.
- Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and safeguarding.

Requirements
- Proven experience successfully managing digital projects, including planning, scoping, and specification.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-level Content Management Systems.
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of Drupal.
- Experience working with outsourced development agencies.
- Good understanding of user experience (UX) and information architecture principles.
- Understanding of fundraising, particularly within the international development sector.
