Project Manager – ITSM & Technology Transformation

Contract: Initial 10 months
Rate: ~£500 per day
IR35: Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid, with occasional travel to London
Start Date: Early September 2026

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major technology transformation programme with a leading global organisation operating across the gaming, entertainment and creative industries.

The organisation is going through several concurrent technology initiatives and is looking for a proactive, delivery-focused PM to take ownership of key workstreams, provide strong governance and drive projects through to successful delivery.

A key priority will be the decommissioning of an existing ServiceNow environment and implementation of a new Service Desk platform.

The successful Project Manager will work closely with the new platform provider's Professional Services team, internal stakeholders and technical teams to coordinate delivery, establish governance and ensure the programme remains on track. Alongside this, you will provide project oversight across a wider programme of work comprising approximately 4–5 workstreams, including initiatives around the end-user environment and Service Desk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of the ServiceNow decommissioning and new Service Desk implementation.
  • Coordinate closely with the platform provider's Professional Services team.
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones and dependencies.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Challenge stakeholders constructively and ensure actions are driven through to completion.
  • Provide clear reporting and visibility to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of an initial MVP during the first three months.
  • Bring structure and accountability to a complex and decentralised environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Industry experience is not essential. The organisation operates in a relatively decentralised way, with individual businesses and studios having a high degree of autonomy. You therefore need to be comfortable entering an environment where there isn't necessarily a single standardised way of working.

A background in gaming, media, entertainment, creative, digital or similarly agile environments would be advantageous.

This role will suit someone who:

  • Is proactive and naturally takes ownership.
  • Can operate independently and make things happen.
  • Is confident challenging stakeholders when required.
  • Can bring structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Is comfortable managing ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Has strong project governance and delivery discipline.
  • Can effectively manage external suppliers alongside internal teams.
  • Is confident working across multiple concurrent workstreams.

The role is hybrid, with occasional travel required to meet teams and stakeholders and build relationships. This is not expected to be a weekly requirement.

If you're an experienced Project Manager with a strong ITSM/ServiceNow background who enjoys taking ownership of complex transformation programmes, we'd be keen to hear from you.
