An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Manager to take responsibility for the delivery of a new residential development near Eastbourne.
Are you the right candidate for this opportunity? Make sure to read the full description below.
Our client is an established and highly regarded private residential developer with a strong pipeline of new-build housing projects across the South East.
The development comprises 108 traditionally built houses and apartments, all of which are being delivered for a Housing Association and are forward sold, providing excellent certainty around the project and its delivery programme.
This is a key appointment for the business and would suit either an established Project Manager or a strong, experienced Senior Site Manager ready to step up and take full ownership of a development.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will act as the No.1 on site, taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the development from construction through to completion and handover.
You will manage the site team and subcontractors while working closely with the company’s Construction, Commercial and Technical departments, as well as maintaining an excellent working relationship with the Housing Association client.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
