Robinsons Brewery is one of the UK’s largest independent family brewers, operating around 250 pubs across the North West of England and Wales. We're proud of our heritage, passionate about our pubs, and committed to investing in our people and properties. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our property team and lead a diverse range of investment projects across our estate.

From pub refurbishments and developments to projects within our brewery, packaging facilities and head office, you'll play a key role in bringing ambitious plans to life while protecting the character and value of our assets.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing refurbishment, development and capital investment projects across the Robinsons estate.
  • Developing project briefs, budgets, programmes and delivery strategies.
  • Coordinating consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintaining strong commercial control, including cost management, change control and value engineering.
  • Ensuring compliance with planning requirements, Building Regulations, CDM and other statutory obligations.
  • Building strong relationships across the business to minimise disruption and support trading performance during project delivery.
  • Identifying and managing project risks while maintaining accurate reporting and governance documentation.

What we're looking for

You'll be a confident and organised project professional who enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders and thrives on delivering results.

Essential experience

  • Proven experience delivering refurbishment, development or capital projects across a multi-site estate.
  • Experience managing project budgets, programmes, contractors, consultants and professional advisers.
  • Strong knowledge of construction, project delivery, planning processes, Building Regulations and CDM requirements.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and experience managing project costs and contractor performance.
  • A relevant qualification in construction, property, design, engineering or project management, or equivalent industry experience.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience within hospitality, leisure, retail, brewing or another multi-site operational environment.
  • Experience delivering projects in live trading environments.
  • Knowledge of listed buildings, heritage assets or conservation areas.
  • A project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or AgilePM.
  • IOSH, NEBOSH or a similar Health & Safety qualification
