Project Manager

Location: London
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
Company: Modus

Deliver exceptional workplaces from concept to completion.

At Modus, we create inspiring workplaces that transform how organisations work, collaborate and thrive. As part of the Workplace Futures Group, we are recognised for delivering exceptional design and build projects that combine creativity, technical excellence and outstanding client experiences.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong Design & Build background to lead the successful delivery of workplace fit-out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East.

The Opportunity

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of workplace design and build projects, acting as the key point of contact for clients whilst coordinating internal teams, consultants and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

You'll work closely with Design, Technical Design, Commercial and Construction teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the highest standards of quality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both the design and construction phases of workplace projects and be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced Design & Build environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of workplace fit-out, refurbishment and relocation projects from inception through to handover.
  • Act as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, building trusted relationships and ensuring exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and reporting to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate Design, Technical Design, Commercial and Construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Drive project performance against programme, quality, commercial and health & safety objectives.
  • Chair project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage consultant and subcontractor performance throughout project delivery.
  • Review design information, technical documentation and construction methodologies to ensure buildability and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks whilst proactively resolving delivery challenges.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations, company standards and client expectations.
  • Support pre-construction and tender activities where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
