Project Manager – Lightweight Steel Frame
We are currently working with a national contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a lightweight steel frame development in Newport.
This is a site-based role, overseeing the project from site set-up through to completion, with responsibility for programme, quality, commercial performance, health & safety and overall delivery.
The Role
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project
- Manage site teams, subcontractors and supply chain
- Ensure works are delivered to programme, budget and required quality standards
- Coordinate with the commercial and design teams
- Monitor progress and resolve any issues affecting delivery
- Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Demonstrable experience delivering lightweight steel frame (LWSF) projects – essential
- Strong knowledge of construction programmes, quality and site management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A strong track record of delivering projects safely, on time and to budget
- SMSTS, CSCS black, First Aid at Work
