Project Manager - London Insurance Market

Salary: Up to £75,000 + Bonus

Hybrid Working

A London Market Insurance business is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple projects from initiation through to completion.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, assess feasibility, and establish budgets, teams, and resource requirements.
  • Agree the delivery approach with stakeholders and develop realistic project plans.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor progress, costs, and resource allocation, taking corrective action where required.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates to management and customers.
  • Ensure change requests are formally documented and managed.
  • Maintain quality standards and oversee project closure, reviews, and lessons learned.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

  • Proven experience delivering projects across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Waterfall delivery experience is essential; Agile experience is desirable.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and resource management skills.
  • Experience monitoring and controlling project budgets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance terminology would be beneficial but is not essential.
