Are you ready to take ownership of complex IT projects and make a real impact in the Defence and Security sector?

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Aerospace, Defence and Security team at Sopra Steria. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on challenging, multi-partner programmes where priorities shift, budgets are tight, and influencing senior leaders is key. You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values adaptability and resilience.

Flexibility is key here. You’ll need to be prepared to travel to multiple client sites depending on the project. This could mean Hemel Hempstead for one project, then Salisbury, Farnborough, and potentially Gloucester for the next. It’s essential that you are aware of and comfortable with this. You must also be eligible and willing to obtain DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.

We can offer great career progression opportunities, the ability to be based anywhere across the UK, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs, and training and development opportunities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of IT and technology projects, ensuring robust governance and accurate reporting of progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Managing project teams and fostering a collaborative culture to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Engaging and influencing senior partners confidently and constructively.
  • Maintaining commercial awareness to ensure projects remain viable and competitive.
  • Driving accountability for delivery and proactively resolving issues.
  • Adapting to varied project types and disciplines in a fast-changing environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
