Project Manager - Turn Around Project
Location: Derby City & Derby County
Hours: 37 per week (Permanent)
Salary: £38,480 per annum, £20.00 per hour

Women’s Work is a National Award-Winning Charity founded in 2003. We aim to deliver a holistic, person-centred support service to vulnerable and disadvantaged women with complex health and social needs. We do this by ensuring they can access support, education and information to raise self-esteem and confidence, empowering them to make positive life choices resulting in improved health and wellbeing.
The Role
To take responsibility for the development, delivery, and administration of the Criminal Justice Project, to achieve positive outcomes around health and well-being for vulnerable female offenders.
To provide leadership, supervision and support the development of the TAP delivery team, overseeing administration, monitoring and reporting functions of the project

Person Specification
- Qualified in a relevant field to a minimum of Level 3
- 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Leadership/Management Qualification or Degree in Health & Social Care, Social work/ Criminology
- Have knowledge and understanding of the criminal Justice system and other related systems/services
- Good interpersonal and all-round communication skills
- Evaluation and sound judgement skills
- Excellent written and report writing skills
- Ability to manage caseload
- Excellent IT and Project Management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the co-ordination of services, monitoring and accurate data collection, related to the project
- To work with mainstream services outside of criminal justice such as social services and health, to facilitate women’s access to specialist services and their integration into mainstream services
- To liaise with Probation and other relevant agencies to establish a network of support for offending women
- Establish working relationships with colleagues in relevant agencies to develop and maintain community links and inter-agency work
- Deliver training and development modules/courses to beneficiaries and stakeholders when required
- To lead on the development of Partnerships relating to the development of services for women in the CJS
- Provide up-to-date and accurate project data and reports for quarterly board meetings
