Overview
Our client, a well-established construction consultancy, is looking to appoint a Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of healthcare and public sector projects across London and the South East.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and collaborative team delivering projects that have a meaningful impact on local communities and essential public services. You'll work across a range of schemes, gaining exposure to key stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, and complex project environments, while benefiting from clear opportunities for professional development and progression.
The Role
Working within an established Project Management team, you'll be responsible for supporting and leading the delivery of projects from inception through to completion. Acting as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will manage multiple projects across the healthcare and public sectors, coordinating consultant teams, monitoring project performance, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects through all RIBA stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver healthcare and public sector construction projects from feasibility through to completion.
- Act as Project Manager and Employer's Agent where required.
- Coordinate and manage client, consultant, and contractor relationships.
- Assist in the development and management of project programmes, budgets, and risk registers.
- Monitor project performance against cost, quality, and programme objectives.
- Lead project meetings and prepare reports for clients and key stakeholders.
- Support the administration of JCT and NEC contracts.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams throughout project delivery.
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Support the development of client relationships and ongoing business opportunities.

About You
You'll come from a construction consultancy, project management consultancy, or client-side environment and have experience delivering projects within the healthcare, public sector, education, or wider built environment sectors.
Requirements
- MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, or working towards chartership.
- Experience delivering construction projects across multiple project stages.
- Healthcare and/or public sector project experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
