Project Manager (Transactional Finance Transformation)

12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Manchester HQ (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office)
£45,000.00 - £55,000.00

At Amoria Group, we're embarking on an exciting transformation programme within our Transactional Finance function. As part of a strategic business initiative, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to help shape, streamline and future-proof the way our department operates.

This isn't a traditional finance role. Instead, you'll work closely with the Head of Transactional Finance to lead projects that improve processes, strengthen governance and documentation, and drive operational excellence. You'll play a key role in ensuring the function is scalable, efficient and well-positioned for future growth.

If you enjoy bringing structure to complex environments, driving change and delivering lasting improvements, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and coordinate multiple transformation projects across the Transactional Finance function.
  • Review and improve existing processes, identifying opportunities to simplify and standardise ways of working.
  • Develop clear process documentation, governance frameworks and operational procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to embed new processes and drive adoption.
  • Track project milestones, risks and dependencies, ensuring delivery remains on schedule.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, measure success and support informed decision making.
  • Explore opportunities to introduce automation and AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both team performance and the overall employee experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
