We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will play a vital role in assisting in profitably managing the Edina UK Projects Business, ensuring that the Projects are managed in a cost-effective way as measured by the management accounts.

The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects related to the successful delivery of the Projects business and accountable through the Head of Projects & Design for the P&L of the individual projects.
You will support the effective management and delivery of projects, with a focus on maximising efficiency, performance and customer satisfaction. You will help ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, while maintaining competitive operating costs and contributing to the profitability of the business.
You will also ensure that Projects customers receive good service and that they are satisfied with the Edina product and service at all times.
About You
To be considered as a Project Manager, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the successful technical management and development of Energy Projects
- To be a competent project manager with technical expertise in power generation/construction, utilising reciprocating engines and associated civils, mechanical and electrical systems, energy production and O&M operation, CDM and health & safety
- Effective IT skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office Packages
- A good understanding of Contract Management, with a focus on Framework Contracts such as MF1, NEC, IChemE and FIDIC
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Project MPP
- An HNC/HND or higher qualification in an electrical or mechanical engineering related discipline
- A full, valid driving licence

Monday – Thursday, 8.30 am - 5.00 pm, Friday 8.30 am - 4.00 pm
This role will require travel throughout the UK and possibly overseas associated with supplier meetings and witness testing.
