Project Manager – Fire Remediation & Façade Projects

Location

UK-wide, with a head office in Leicester (Leicestershire)

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of fire remediation and façade projects within Oak Specialist Services.

You’ll oversee all project stages, from:

  • Pre-construction and regulatory approvals
  • BSR (Building Safety Regulations) compliance
  • Client and team coordination
  • Termination and handover

Your responsibilities include ensuring projects are safe, compliant, high-quality, on time, within budget, and deliver long-term value while driving performance, efficiency, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive working environment
  • Lead project delivery from planning and BSR approvals to handover
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with design and pre-construction teams to support buildability and planning
  • Coordinate teams, resources, and supply chain partners to meet programme and budget targets
  • Manage risk, cost, quality, and performance across projects
  • Lead reporting, meetings, and stakeholder communication
  • Oversee site setup, temporary works, and on-site activities
  • Support commercial performance, including cost control and change management
  • Investigate incidents and drive continuous improvement
  • Innovate and optimise processes to enhance project delivery

Experience & Requirements

Essential

  • Relevant construction qualification (e.g., HNC/HND/degree or equivalent experience)
  • CSCS (Manager level) plus working towards CIOB membership (strategic membership)
  • Direct experience in fire remediation, façade, or cladding projects
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards (including BSR)
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with project management systems, reporting tools, and document control

Desirable

  • Knowledge of NHBC processes
  • Experience in façade-specific regulations (e.g., performance bonding processes)

  • Experienced project deliverer – Proven track record of safe, on-time, on-budget construction projects
  • Strong leadership & communication – Ability to engage diverse teams, clients, and partners
  • Highly organised & proactive – Confident multitasking to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Commercially astute – Experience in cost and programme management
  • Problem-solver with a collaborative mindset – Focused on solutions over roadblocks
