Project Manager - 6 Month Contract - £400-500/day Outside IR35
We are seeking an immediately available (or on short notice) experienced Project Manager to join a global organisation in London on a 6-month Outside IR35 contract.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role delivering critical technical initiatives across several workstreams including web migration, security remediation, and identity management. Operating in a lean delivery team (approx. 10 people), you will take full end-to-end ownership - combining strong project governance (60–70%) with hands-on Business Analysis (30–40%) to keep complex technical workstreams moving forward without reliance on a large PMO setup.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead a controlled "lift-and-shift" migration of the public site from Salesforce Experience Cloud to Drupal, keeping strict control over scope and managing business expectations.
- Support the Head of IT and internal engineers on key security projects, including Joiners/Movers/Leavers process automation, Identity Management, DNS, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Collaborate with existing PMs on Single Sign-On (SSO) delivery and take on additional emerging tech and data projects as needed.
- Elicit requirements, build process maps, write clear user stories, and define acceptance criteria for core deliverables.
- Maintain strict project controls (plans, RAID logs, status reports) and actively challenge scope creep to keep projects on time and on budget.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Demonstrable track record managing digital platform or website migrations (experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Drupal, or complex CMS platforms is highly desirable).
- Proven experience acting as both PM and BA on technical projects—comfortable writing user stories, mapping requirements, and documenting technical workflows.
- Strong baseline technical literacy (security/identity management awareness, DNS, cloud/web setups) allowing you to challenge assumptions, control scope, and manage technical stakeholders effectively.
- Self-starter who takes personal accountability ("I drove this") and can scale delivery frameworks up or down in lean, fast-moving environments without rigid PMO support.
