Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishment
Location: London (predominantly London-based with occasional travel to surrounding areas)
Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 + Benefits
About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected commercial project delivery specialist operating across London and the surrounding region. Known for high-quality project execution, they are seeking an autonomous, client-facing Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of smaller, fast-paced projects.
This is an excellent role for a proactive Project Manager who thrives on independence, enjoys building strong client relationships, and takes pride in delivering fit-out, refurbishment and maintenance schemes seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Ownership: Drive multiple smaller projects concurrently from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building managers, facilities management (FM) teams and end-users.
- Supply Chain Management: Procure materials and specialist trades; manage suppliers and subcontractors on site.
- Planning & Programming: Program and coordinate works to meet client deadlines in occupied commercial environments.
- Commercial Control: Oversee project financials, manage variations, monitor costs and protect project margins.
- Site Quality & H&S: Conduct regular site visits, undertake quality inspections, produce/review RAMS and maintain strict compliance with CDM duties and construction Health & Safety standards.
- Reporting & Escalation: Provide clear progress reporting to internal leadership and escalate critical issues as required.
- Business Growth: Identify opportunities for repeat business and support ongoing account development.

- Experience: Proven track record in fit-out, Moves & Changes, refurbishment, and maintenance projects, specifically within occupied commercial spaces.
- Autonomy & Drive: Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable operating independently with a solutions focused mindset.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with hands-on experience managing variations and project budgets.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to manage stakeholders, client representatives and trade teams alike.
- Flexibility: Willingness to undertake occasional evening or weekend work when necessary to support project delivery and minimize client disruption.
