About the Company and Role

The business is seeking a driven Small Works Project Manager to oversee fast paced commercial interior projects ranging from £350k to £1m. This role suits someone who thrives in a hands-on, agile environment, managing multiple live schemes while maintaining exceptional client service and strong commercial control.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver multiple small works office fit out projects concurrently, from pre-start through to handover
- Manage programmes, sequencing, procurement, and day to day site operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality and efficiency
- Act as the primary client contact, providing clear communication, updates, and issue resolution
- Review drawings, specifications, and design information to identify risks or opportunities
- Maintain strict health and safety compliance, ensuring all works meet CDM and company standards
- Oversee budgets, variations, and cost reporting in collaboration with the commercial team
- Lead progress meetings and produce accurate project documentation
- Promote a proactive, solutions focused culture across all sites

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience delivering small works commercial fit out projects, ideally between £250k and £1m+
- Strong understanding of design and build delivery, construction sequencing, and M and E coordination
- Confident communicator with excellent client facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast moving environment
- Strong commercial awareness and cost control capability
- Competent with project management systems and reporting tools
- Organised, detail driven, and able to make clear decisions under pressure

Qualifications
- SMSTS
- CSCS, preferably managerial level
- First Aid at Work
- Relevant construction or project management qualifications are desirable
