Junior Project Manager
Location: London, UK

Role Overview
The Project Manager will support and manage technology projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery in line with agreed scope, schedule, quality, cost, and governance requirements. The role coordinates technical teams, business stakeholders, customers, vendors, and other project participants while maintaining effective project controls and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and track project plans covering activities, milestones, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams to achieve agreed project objectives.
- Track project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, issues, actions, and dependencies.
- Conduct regular project meetings and ensure decisions and actions are documented and followed through.
- Prepare and distribute clear weekly project status reports to internal and customer stakeholders.
- Identify risks and issues early, define mitigation actions, and escalate appropriately.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure deliverables are completed within committed timelines.
- Maintain RAID logs, action trackers, milestone plans, and project governance artefacts.
- Coordinate with technical leads and subject-matter experts to confirm ownership of deliverables and dependencies.
- Support financial tracking, including project effort, resource usage, budgets, and milestone completion.
- Manage scope changes through the agreed change-control process.
- Ensure project activities and deliverables comply with applicable delivery frameworks and governance requirements.
- Maintain proactive communication regarding progress, issues, dependencies, and required decisions.
- Support project closure, handover, lessons learned, documentation, and closure of outstanding actions.

Required Experience and Skills
- 2 to 4 years of relevant project management or project coordination experience, preferably in IT services or technology delivery.
- Good understanding of the end-to-end project lifecycle.
- Experience managing schedules, milestones, actions, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience coordinating multiple technical and business stakeholders.
- Good customer-facing communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to prepare clear project status reports and management updates.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
Preferred Technology Exposure
Exposure to one or more of the following areas is desirable:
- End User Computing and Digital Workplace
- Windows endpoint deployment and migration
- Microsoft 365 and Azure / Cloud
- Data Centre and infrastructure services
- Network transformation
- ServiceNow and IT service management
- Transition and transformation programmes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or an equivalent discipline.
- Project management training or certification such as PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM, PMP training, Agile/Scrum certification, or equivalent is desirable.
- ITIL Foundation certification is advantageous for IT infrastructure and service projects.
