Are you an experienced Project Manager with experience working for a construction contractor?
I’ve been retained on a Project Manager vacancy for a well-established and growing interior fit-out and refurbishment business that has been supporting the UK commercial sector since 2011. Specialising in partitions, suspended ceilings, drylining and passive fire protection, they pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects with a personal, professional approach.
People sit at the heart of everything they do. They have created a supportive, fair and relaxed working environment which allows people to do their best work and enjoy doing it.
This is honestly a superb contractor who I already have a candidate working for. They are doing extremely well and are very busy. That is the reason for this new role where they want to add to their contract & project management team to free up Paul the Director.

The Role
This is a hands-on Contracts Manager position where you'll oversee multiple projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple interior fit-out projects
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients, subcontractors and site teams
- Planning and coordinating project programmes
- Ensuring health & safety compliance across all works
- Managing subcontractors, materials and project resources
- Monitoring project performance, cost control and quality standards
- Conducting site visits and providing leadership to site teams
- Building strong client relationships and ensuring excellent customer service

About You
- Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within construction, fire protection, drylining, ceilings, partitioning or fit-out
- Strong knowledge of contracts, regulations and construction processes
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and project management experience
- Ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively
- Full UK driving licence
