The Role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of customer projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery against agreed timescales, budgets and quality objectives.

You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Managing projects throughout the full lifecycle, from kick-off to final delivery
  • Leading customer-facing activities and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting project bids and proposals, including commercial and technical considerations
  • Coordinating internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution
  • Chairing project meetings and managing project risks, issues and escalations
  • Supporting customer audits, assessments and compliance activities
  • Monitoring project performance, budgets and delivery milestones
  • Ensuring projects adhere to company processes and governance requirements
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives that support business growth across the EMEA region

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Previous project management or project coordination experience within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work within a structured project environment
  • Commercial awareness and experience working towards customer deliverables
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • A UK-based location and willingness to travel occasionally across the EMEA region

Desirable

  • Experience within Aerospace, Defence, Space, Electronics, Telecommunications or related sectors
  • A technical qualification in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics or a similar discipline
  • Knowledge of network communications or complex technical systems
  • Project Management certification (PRINCE2, APM, IPMA, PMP or equivalent)
