Salary: Up to £85,000 + Excellent Benefits


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading provider of integrated facilities and real estate services, delivering projects across a prestigious commercial property portfolio in the City of London.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction, building services, fit-out, refurbishment or facilities projects who enjoys managing multiple projects from inception through to completion while building strong client relationships.

The Role

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of a diverse range of capital works, refurbishment, lifecycle and workplace projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal operational teams, you'll oversee every stage of the project lifecycle while ensuring commercial, technical and compliance objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from feasibility through to handover.
  • Develop project plans, programmes, budgets and risk registers.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
  • Monitor project performance, reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement activities and contractor performance.
  • Build and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Chair project meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and value engineering.
  • Manage project finances, change control and commercial reporting.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience delivering commercial property, fit-out, refurbishment or M&E projects.
  • Strong project management experience within construction, facilities management or building services.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing project budgets, programmes and risk.
  • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Strong commercial awareness and contract administration experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Construction, Building Services, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APM or equivalent) desirable.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS preferred.
