About AVK
AVK provide expertise in the design, planning and implementation of power systems projects in all major market sectors. We are experts in state-of-the-art solutions for today's demands for reliability, sustainability and efficiency.
Due to the large current market opportunities that this sector is currently seeing, this individual needs to bring their skills to deliver key projects for us on time and on budget while creating and maintaining relationships with our clients.
You will report to an operations director, however you will be given full responsibility and have autonomy to drive and successfully deliver your projects the AVK way.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires a balance between role model leadership, operational skill, strategic ability, strong financial acumen and the ability to communicate at a high level of engagement with new and existing clients.
Due to the varied type of projects which the role encompasses, the person needs to have a good understanding of the type of work carried out in this sector and be able to manage and deliver projects successfully.

- Demonstrate a proven track record in delivering projects in this sector.
- Show clear ownership and leadership qualities.
- Be adaptable and capable of working with several of our key customers.
Requirements
- Project Management Experience: Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver projects, within a similar sector and customer environment.
- Leadership & Ownership: Strong leadership skills with evidence of taking ownership, acting as a role model, and driving team performance.
- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Good operational and strategic capability, supported by strong financial awareness and decision-making skills.
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to build credibility and communicate effectively with both new and existing customers, maintaining high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
- Results-Driven Delivery: Proven track record of delivering commitments on time, managing resources effectively, identifying risks, and making sound decisions under pressure.
- Team Development: Experience building high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, managing conflict constructively, and supporting succession planning and employee development.
- Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement Focus: Commitment to following AVK processes, improving health and safety culture, driving quality and efficiency, and continuously challenging ways of working to improve outcomes.
