Development Project Manager – Residential Development
Location: London
Type: Client-side
Focus: Build to Rent
Capstone is working with an established international real estate investment and development business to appoint a Development Project Manager into its UK residential development team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 2–3 years’ project management experience who wants to move further into client-side development and gain exposure across the full development lifecycle.
Working closely with the Director of Development, you will support the delivery of large-scale Build to Rent residential projects from acquisition and early-stage development through design, construction, handover and operation.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of residential development projects from acquisition through to operation
- Managing development programmes, budgets, cashflows and forecasting
- Coordinating consultants, project teams and external stakeholders
- Supporting consultant procurement and change management
- Providing input into design, amenity spaces, specifications and material selection
- Overseeing elements of the handover process
- Working closely with internal Asset Management, Finance, Marketing, Acquisitions and Legal teams
- Preparing project reporting and presentations for senior management

Requirements:
We are looking for someone with approximately 3–6 years’ experience in a project management capacity and, importantly, some exposure to residential development. You could currently be working for a developer, investor, consultancy or project management business and looking to make the move client-side.
